Questions About Working Here

Careers at AUDIO-LOGIC, PC

Thinking about applying to AUDIO-LOGIC, PC in Columbus, NE? Here's what to know about the roles we hire for, what a workday looks like, and how to send your application.

AUDIO-LOGIC, PC is a small practice, so we hire for two kinds of roles: audiologist jobs on the clinical side, and front office positions such as patient care coordinator or medical receptionist. Openings don't come up often, and we fill them carefully because every person here works directly with patients.

If there's no posted opening, you're still welcome to apply. Choose your area of expertise on the form, tell us a little about yourself, and we'll be in touch when a role opens that fits your background. Front office jobs in Columbus, NE at a hearing clinic suit people who enjoy steady, friendly work with older adults and families.

Audiologist candidates should hold a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or a master's degree in audiology, along with a Nebraska audiology license or the ability to obtain one. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is a plus.

Day to day, the work covers comprehensive hearing evaluations, Widex and Signia hearing aid fittings, Real Ear Measurement verification, tinnitus care, and pediatric hearing tests. Experience in any of those areas helps. Just as important is how you talk with patients. Dr. Fuchs believes educated patients are the best patients, so we look for clinicians who enjoy explaining an audiogram in plain language and answering the same question twice without rushing.

No. A background in healthcare, insurance, or a medical receptionist job is helpful, but it isn't required for front office work at AUDIO-LOGIC, PC. Scheduling, check-in, and insurance steps can be taught. Patience and warmth are harder to teach.

Many of the people who call our office have hearing loss, so speaking clearly, slowing down, and repeating details kindly matter a lot here. You'll greet patients and their families, answer phones, schedule hearing tests and follow-up visits, and help hearing aid patients keep up with the cleanings and refittings included for three years after their purchase. If you're organized and like being the friendly voice people remember, we'd like to hear from you.

It's personal. AUDIO-LOGIC, PC has been locally owned and women-owned since 1992, and there's no corporate office or franchise quota setting the pace. Dr. Fuchs sees patients herself, so you'll work right alongside the owner and see how each decision gets made.

Appointments leave room for conversation. Family members are welcome in the exam room, children come in for hearing tests, and Columbus police officers and firefighters visit through our Public Servant Hearing Plan. Patients return for annual testing and hearing aid care, so you'll get to know them over the years. If you want hearing clinic careers where your work is noticed, this is a good place to look.

Fill out the application form on this page with your name, email, phone number, and area of expertise, then add a short note about your experience and why the role interests you. You can attach your resume as a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file up to 4 MB, and include a LinkedIn profile if you have one.
