Dr. Nicole Pond is a Nebraska native and grew up on the family farm near Dodge. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in communication disorders and audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While obtaining her doctorate degree, Nicole worked as the graduate assistant for the Nebraska Sertoma, Lions, and HearU hearing aid banks. She took pride in working with hearing care providers throughout the state to provide hearing aids to individuals of all ages who would have had no other means of obtaining amplification.
Dr. Pond began her work at AUDIO-LOGIC, PC, in 2017 as a doctoral student completing a clinical rotation. She enjoyed working with Dr. Fuchs and the people of Columbus so much that she decided to complete her externship at AUDIO-LOGIC, PC, the following year. Dr. Pond earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in July of 2018.
Dr. Pond enjoys audiology because it combines science with communication. She has always been fascinated by the anatomy and physiology of the human body and also finds joy in helping others stay connected with their loved ones.
Dr. Pond holds her state licensure in audiology as well as the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Dr. Pond and her husband, Dusty, live in North Bend and have a one-year-old daughter. She enjoys going for walks, playing volleyball, cooking and baking, and is an active member of their church, St. Charles Borromeo.
